This course aims to develop advanced proficiency in communication through oral and written presentations to develop research project for Capstone in Japanese using appropriate media.
Course Narrative:
Through this course, I was able to fulfill MLO 4 because this course taught me how to use online resources that allowed us to research about our capstone topic for our graduating semester. An example of this was how we used online resources such as our school’s library page to look for articles and sources for us to research our project topics. Because of this source, I was able to learn about how to accurately use the library website to help narrow down what information I need in order to research for my topic. Another example of this is how we had to learn about google survey in order for use to create an online survey that we would use to ask people to gain information on what people think about the subject of our project topic. Because of this course, I realized that that the things I learned from this course reminded me of what I had to do for my CST 101 class I took back in 2010. Unfortunately, I did not remember too much of that class at the time. Even though I have taken this course, I feel like there are still things that I need to do in order to fully use what I have gained in this class. The area I feel like I need to improve is that I may need to gain a better understand on how to use tools that will allow me to narrow down on what I want to research. In order for me to fully use what I have gained in this class, I feel like I should use some of the resources I learned in this class to research certain topics that I find interesting.
